Project Title: Futures by Jonathan D'Rozario

Logline: A gay professional tennis player in the twilight of his twenties struggles to reconcile his dreams, both professionally and romantically, with his realities. When he meets a talented young tennis player and his two fathers, he finds an unexpected connection and sees in them both his past and his future.
Cinephilia Lab is a 3-month program focused on the development of early career Film & TV writers to advance their professional careers and package their projects. Open to Cinephilia fellows and by invitation only.
Cinephilia Lab 2023 Mentors and guest speakers include Rukayat Giwa (Agent, CAA), Sergio Lira (Development Executive, A24), Ellie Foumbi (writer/director), Maryam Keshavarz (writer/director), Areej Noor (founder of Statement Films), Darine Hotait (writer/director/founder of Cinephilia), and Brad Saunders (writer and script consultant).
I played the lead role of AMIR in TEMPO RUBATO, a film about the pressure put upon a relationship between two cellists before a career-defining performance.

I played the supporting role of NICK in FIRST TIME, an independent short film about a young woman who, after an awkward birthday dinner with her mother, attempts to shoot her shot.

I played the lead role of EZRA in FALLEN STAR, a Columbia University MFA Film about a food-cart worker who tumbles into his own fairytale of New York after finding a diamond ring in his tip jar.
